ARRIVAL & DEPARTURE:
Most of our guests arrive between 5:00 and 7:00 pm. Should you need an earlier or later arrival, please give us a call so we can make arrangements to greet you. Our checkout time is 10:00 am, however, on occasion, we can arrange for a later time if needed.
PAYMENT
Payment in full is due upon arrive to our rentals. We ask that first nights reservation deposit be paid on all one night rooms and 50% deposit be paid on longer stays. We will hold your reservation with a credit card, Visa or MasterCard, while we await your check to arrive in the mail. Upon arrival we ask that you pay for your stay with CASH, TRAVELERS CHECKS OR PERSONAL CHECK. Deposits are refundable, provided we are given a forty five day notice, OR are able to fill your space, but subject to a $20 handling charge. If you have plans and decide to depart early, please expect to pay for your entire reservation unless we are able to refill your space.
Lockhart Bed & Breakfast Inn is located on US Highway 14,16,20 AKA Sheridan
Avenue or Yellowstone Avenue, the main road into the East entrance of
Yellowstone National Park. We are located approximately 1/4 mile past the
Wal-Mart to the west and 1/8 mile past the rodeo grounds to the east.
You will go through Shoshone National Forest, the first forest in the US, and
continue to pass Buffalo Bill Reservoir and the
Buffalo Bill Dam Visitor Center (don't
forget to stop!). You will then proceed thru a series of tunnels which will open
you into the great little town of Cody. Passing the rodeo on your left, we
are approx. 1/4 mile - on your left. A large two-story Inn with a white
picket fence.
Traveling East from
the Black Hills, Southern Wyoming, or Montana:
You will drive into Cody at the Holiday Inn Complex and look for Hwy
GRATUITIES:
Our prices do not include the 15% service charge that
many commercial resorts include in their rates and generally do not bill you for
incidental hospitality such as reservations, trip planning, ticket sales,
refreshments, etc. However, if our
efforts have enhanced your visit we hope you will show your appreciation.
MEALS:
The Lockhart Bed and Breakfast Inn provides an
all-you-can-eat country breakfast daily. If
you should have any dietary needs, please advise us prior to your arrival and we
will try to accommodate your needs. We serve breakfast at three settings, generally starting at
7:00 to 7:30 am and continuing until 8:30.
Our kitchen refrigerator is available for some small storage for goods,
very small, while housing cold beverages and snacks for your enjoyment.
SMOKING & ALCOHOL:
All of our rentals are non-smoking properties, however,
smoking is allowed on the veranda and decks, using an ashtray.
Alcoholic beverages are permitted.
SPECIAL OCCASIONS:
Let us add that special touch to your special occasions, including: anniversaries, honeymoons, wedding parties, family reunions and holidays!
We have facilities for BBQ if you wish to grill a dinner. There is also a play are for children with swings, sand area, croquet and badminton at the Lockhart Bed & Breakfast Inn and overlooks the Shoshone River and has a splendid view of the canyon, river, Heart Mountain, Rattlesnake Mountain and Cedar Mountain. We ask that you please stay back from the cliff overlook for safety purposes.
